In 1925, my grandfather, Zedrick
Braden, Sr., opened the doors of his law firm, Braden, Hall, Barnes & Moss, at 35th and State in Chicago,
Illinois. Grandpa and his partners then eventually moved the firm to 179 W. Washington in downtown Chicago during the
late 1940's, and then in 1955 my father, Zedrick Braden, Jr., followed in his foot steps. Later my uncle, Everette A.
Braden, served Cook County as a Circuit Court Judge, before retiring and assuming a full time practice. Today I
and several other family members of my generation are continuing our family's legal legacy. My areas of legal concentration include,
but are not limited to contracts, real estate, family law, criminal defense, and civil rights. Over the years I have established a friendship with other independent attorneys and law firms
and am able to refer people who come to me with legal issues in areas in which I do not concentrate. I
enjoy my work and am committed to providing the very best in legal expertise. My battles for fairness and justice have taken me to courtrooms throughout the State of Illinois
and I am repeatedly reminded that what people want most from the court system is equal treatment under the law and their day
in court. My younger brother, Stan, and I had the privilege of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout as teenagers.
The Scout slogan is "to do a good turn daily," and that's the attitude that I keep in my daily practice
of law as a Chicago lawyer. My grandfather and father helped thousands of Illinois citizens and blazed a trail
for me to continue my family's legal tradition. I invite you to call and make an ap-pointment to
see me should you need to. Many legal problems can be avoided
by careful planning. I take great pride in guiding people
in the right direction in the form of a thorough office consultation. We look forward to helping as many Illinois citizens
